Bright Masikati is a Policy Researcher under the Domestic Resource Mobilisation (DRM) Portfolio. He assists the Policy Analyst in the execution of research, advocacy and other processes that define the work of the Portfolio in line with the AFRODAD Strategic Plan.
Prior to joining AFRODAD, Bright worked with Young Voices Network (YVN) as the Programmes Officer where he coordinated the implementation of various youth-based projects and acquired vast experience in development programming, research, advocacy and monitoring and evaluation. He also worked with CATCH Zimbabwe as a Case Management officer and Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant.
Bright holds a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Development Studies, a Certificate in Research Methods and he is currently in his final stage of a Master of Science in Development Studies.
