Rangarirai Chikova is a Policy Analyst responsible for the Domestic Resources Mobilisation (DRM) Portfolio. As the Interim Portfolio Head, his responsibilities mainly focus on programme planning, coordinating and reporting, policy analysis and research and securing funding for the DRM Portfolio and the organization. He holds a Bsc. Hons in Public Administration from University of Zimbabwe and an Executive Certificate in Practical Monitoring and Evaluation from the same institution. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Governance and Public Policy from Passau University, Germany.
Mr. Chikova is a member of the German based African Good Governance Network which is a group of highly educated African academics who are dedicated to Good Governance principles. Prior to joining AFRODAD, he worked as a Programmes Assistant at ZIMCODD and he has acquired vast experience and knowledge on creating policy change and initiating advocacy strategies on domestic resources mobilisation issues. Mr. Chikova’s areas of interest are illicit financial flows (IFFs), mineral resources governance and public finance management. He has produced several publications on IFFs, mineral resources governance and taxation.
