Mrs Barbara Kalima-Phiri has several years of experience working in the local, regional and international policy analysis and advocacy field. She is currently the Special Advisor to the President of the African Monitor, Archbishop Emeritus Njongonkulu Ndungane. She has worked for various organizations including African Monitor and Southern African Regional Poverty Network (SARPN). Barbra is a former executive Director of AFRODAD. Barbara has worked extensively on poverty reduction strategies, the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), gender, debt and regional integration issues. Originating from Zambia, she holds a Masters Degree in Economics, specializing in policy analysis, economic development, and corporate finance and investment.
