Partnering with Media to Advance Socio-Economic Justice and Africa’s Common Position on Debt
AFRODAD Launched the AFRODAD Media Initiative (AFROMEDI) in 2021; to promote factual, effective, and consistent reporting on debt and development issues. AFROMEDI builds media’s reporting capacity on debt and related issues; to shape the public debate and put pressure on policymakers to answer to the call of transparency, accountability, and good governance.
In 2026, the African Forum and Network on Debt and Development (AFRODAD), Transparency International Kenya, the Okoa Uchumi Campaign and the Stop the Bleeding campaign will host the 6th edition of the AFRODAD Media Initiative (AFROMedI VI) to advance Socio-Economic Justice and Africa’s Common Position on Debt.
