Panashe Mufukari

Panashe Mufukari is the Executive Director’s Office intern at AFRODAD. She holds a master’s degree in political and international studies from Rhodes University. Her primary research area is the international political economy with current research interests converging at the intersection of global value chains, multinational corporations, and uneven development. Through her research at both Honors and Masters levels, she has developed robust critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Through her quest for knowledge, she finds interest in how stories are told and the positionality of the story-tellers. She is therefore passionate about the politics of knowledge production and intellectual justice.
