Lurit Yugusuk holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Security Studies from Daystar University and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Policy and Management from Strathmore University. She is the current Communications and Campaigns intern at AFRODAD. Her skills include digital advocacy & communications strategy development, panel moderation (specifically structured and audience-driven panel discussion formats), qualitative research data collection, and public policy-related graphic design. Within communications, she seeks to be a pioneer of the simplification of industrial jargon in public policy and the development of stakeholder tailored messages to ensure constructive citizen participation in public policy issues.
