Nelly Mwende is the Communications Intern at AFRODAD. She joined the organisation in August 2021 with experience working in communications from previous organisations. She has worked for African Enterprise International, a faith based organisation, Postbank Kenya and Industrial and Commercial Development Corporation (ICDC).

She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication- Public Relations from Daystar University, Kenya. Some of her skills include; writing for print, social media management, editing, graphic design and desktop publishing. In addition, Nelly is passionate about using her skills to drive conversations that will bring change in Africa.
