Brief Profile
She is a seasoned multilingual professional who stands out in areas of strategic and development communication. She is the African Forum and Network on Debt and Development (AFRODAD) Campaigns and Communication Manager. Prior to joining AFRODAD, she worked with other organisations including the African Women’s Development and Communication Network (FEMNET), Christian Blind Mission (CBM) and Ecumenical Pharmaceutical Network (EPN). She has also offered consultancy services to OXFAM and BroadReach. Fidélité has a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and a master’s degree in Communication for Development, besides other professional courses.

This session will focus on how the African media community can promote transparency, accountability, and good governance in development finance with Insights from the African Borrowing Charter and Harare Declaration. Group discussions and presentations following the presentation will highlight other ideas that take into consideration different contexts in which journalists operate from.
