Brief Profile

She is an award-winning Kenyan journalist. She is the 2020 recipient of the BBC World News Komla Dumor Award. She currently co-anchors Citizen TV’s Sunday Live news bulletin, East Africa’s most watched news broadcast. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She has worked in radio and television, with over 14 years’ experience in the industry. Beyond her work in the media, Victoria is also a seasoned global moderator and MC, having hosted a wide range of high-level forums.

It will demonstrate how people may not care about borrowed billions and trillions because the majority doesn't even understand those figures. How then do journalists give a human face to their stories? How do they link those stories to unsustainable public debt?
