Liliane is an independent researcher and analyst with strong research and analytical skills and more than ten years’ experience working in a research and policy environment. She works at the intersection of law, politics and international relations, with an emphasis on key aspects of international economic law, governance and development. Her main topics of interest include corruption and illicit financial flows, Africa’s economic relations with international organisations (such as the International Monetary Fund (IMF), World Bank and European Union) and rising powers (mainly China), economic and social rights, and global supply chain regulation and governance; and her sectoral and geographic foci are the manufacturing and extractive sectors in South Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa. Liliane believes that if considered for the AFRODAD Board, she will add value in establishing the linkages  between  debt , extractivism, development and a human rights approach.
