Sovereign Debt Management

Beatrice is an economist with five years of experience in research, policy analysis, and capacity building, specialising in macroeconomics, institutional economics, and political economy. She holds a Bachelor of Economics and Statistics from the University of Nairobi and has pursued professional training in Public Policy Analysis, Social Policy for Development, and Macroeconomic Modelling for Sustainable Development. Currently, as a Sovereign Debt intern at the African Forum and Network on Debt and Development (AFRODAD), Beatrice analyses critical macroeconomic issues and develops policy recommendations for sustainable development and debt management. Her previous roles include serving as a Researcher and Policy Analyst for the Migration Youth and Children Platform, Assistant Lecturer at Umma University, and a Curriculum Development & Policy Research Assistant for the University of Nairobi. Beatrice is a member of several professional associations, a mentee at the Association for the Advancement of African Women Economists and has received multiple awards for her research contributions.
